We took a few moments to gather at and got on the bus to Saint Lukes's Hospital. The whole journey took about half an hour, and when we reached our destination, we were briefed about what to do. After a quick practice session, we went into action.
Coincidentally, the lift went beeping when we stepped in, and even though no one remained in the lift, it still went beeping for a while.
There were four levels and a large number of wards to cover. Some of the boys and girls performed for the patients, some talked with them, while the rest were engaged in adminstrative work. We had not expected such a large number of patients, and due to the limited number of songs, we were forced to repeat the same old performance ward after ward, and Sean sang "Love Me Tender" so many times, I swore afterwards I would never have any close encounter with it ever again.
We finished the whole activity in an hour or so, some of the patients were seemingly satistfied, the hospital's staff were pleased from what we heard, and with that, we left the hospital.
